Welcome to the land of Röschti...

Restaurant Anker is a traditional swiss restaurant which is located in the heart of Bern, only a few meters from the Zytglogge clock tower. We are famous for our more than twenty Röschti specialties, which we serve in our famous röschti-pans and our delicious cheese fondue. We also serve a variety of Pasta dishes, peruvian specialties and of course the famous "Bernese-Platter".

The restaurant is one of the oldest in Bern‘s old town and is run over 30 years by the same family. Swiss chalet meets capital city, the interior is rustic but homey. We believe you will feel right at home!

All our dishes are homemade and freshly prepared upon order. We guarantee you high quality and delicious swiss food with regional products. We process between 100-150kg of potatoes per week for our röschti dishes.
